Liability Clause
1. Assumption of Risk:
The Client acknowledges that dog grooming services involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the handling of animals, potential reactions to grooming procedures, and unforeseen medical issues. The Client assumes all risks associated with the grooming services.
2. Health and Medical Records:
The Client agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding the dog's health, behaviour, and any known medical conditions. Peanut’s Pet Palace will not be held liable for any adverse reactions or injuries resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.
3. Release of Liability:
In consideration of the grooming services provided, the Client hereby releases Peanut’s Pet Palace from any liability for injuries, damages, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of the grooming process, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
4. Emergency Veterinary Care:
The Client authorises Peanut’s Pet Palace to seek emergency veterinary care if deemed necessary for the well-being of the dog. The Client agrees to be responsible for all associated veterinary expenses and understands that Peanut’s Pet Palace is not liable for any decisions made in the best interest of the dog's health.
5. Aggressive Behavior:
The Client must disclose any history of aggressive behaviour or known temperament issues exhibited by the dog. Peanut’s Pet Palace reserves the right to refuse services or terminate grooming procedures if the dog poses a risk to the safety of the groomer or other pets.
6. Damage to Property:
The Client is responsible for any damage caused by their dog to the grooming facility or equipment. Peanut’s Pet Palace will not be held liable for damages resulting from the actions of the dog during the grooming process.
7. Indemnification:
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Peanut’s Pet Palace harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the grooming services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Peanut’s Pet Palace.
This Liability Clause is to be read and agreed to in conjunction with Peanut Pet Palace's Terms of Service.
